As you were previously informed by email, the Ontario Ministry of Education published updated Attendance and Participation policies effective September 2026. These requirements are now in effect and apply to your courses at Averroes Academy.
Please remember that Attendance and Participation form part of your final course grade:
Students are expected to attend all scheduled online sessions, arrive on time, participate actively, respond to teacher communications, and maintain consistent engagement with course activities. Missing scheduled meetings, failing to participate regularly, or not responding to required teacher communication may negatively affect your Attendance and Participation mark and, as a result, your final course grade.
